Copenhagen, 7-11 Septiembre
The field of ancient biomolecules is developing at an extremely rapid rate, and continues to contribute to our understanding of the past. In addition to being a vibrant, collaborative research environment, it is also one of the most media- and public-friendly areas of scientific research. Rarely a month goes by without seeing the release of high-impact publications in top-tier journals, often accompanied by global coverage in the popular press. After highly successful meetings in Amsterdam (2004), Stockholm (2006) and York (2008), the Fourth International Symposium on Biomolecular Archaeology hopes to continue on these successes when it is held in Copenhagen, between the 7th and 11th September, 2010.
With this in mind, we invite you, our colleagues from across the wide range of specialities upon which the field rests and develops, to join us for what will undoubtably be, a fascinating conference, and hope to see you in Copenhagen. We hope to host up to 180 delegates from across both Europe and the world, presenting up to 60 talks and many posters. The symposium is hosted by the Centre for GeoGenetics, University of Copenhagen. The organising committee consists of Maria Avila, Paula Campos, Enrico Cappellini, Tom Gilbert, Hannes Schroeder, Cristina Valdiosera and Eske Willerslev.
*The conference fee is still to be determined, but is expected to be in the range of 100-150 Euros. This will include lunch on every day of the conference and an evening reception but not accommodation

Deadline for abstract submission: 1st of May
Early registration deadline: 1st of June
There is no final registration deadline, however registration will close once the conference capacity (180) is reached.
